Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Wobarth is committed to making wobarth.com as accessible as reasonably possible for all visitors, including people who use assistive technologies.

We want everyone to be able to explore the World of Wobarth, its characters, creatures, plants and stories without unnecessary barriers.

Our approach to accessibility

We aim to follow recognised accessibility good practice and, where reasonably possible, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

As part of our accessibility review, we have:

  • added appropriate alternative text to meaningful images;

  • identified decorative images so they are not unnecessarily announced by screen readers;

  • reviewed heading structures to make pages easier to navigate;

  • checked text and background colour contrast;

  • reviewed page layouts on both desktop and mobile devices;

  • adjusted some image positioning to improve visibility on smaller screens; and

  • reviewed the site using Wix accessibility tools together with manual checks.

Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we will continue to review the site as new pages, images and content are added.

Using this website

We have tried to make the website:

  • easy to navigate using clear headings and page structures;

  • readable with good colour contrast;

  • understandable without relying solely on images;

  • usable across different screen sizes;

  • compatible with common browser zoom and accessibility features; and

  • understandable when using screen-reading technology.

The website is built and hosted using the Wix.com platform. Some aspects of accessibility therefore depend on the features and technology provided by Wix.

Known accessibility issues

We are not currently aware of any major accessibility barrier that would prevent most visitors from using the website.

However, automated accessibility tools cannot identify every possible accessibility issue, and some parts of the website may behave differently depending on the device, browser or assistive technology being used.

We will continue to review and improve the site where problems are identified.

Ongoing improvements

Wobarth is an evolving website and new material will be added as the world develops.

When new pages, artwork and features are added, we aim to consider accessibility as part of the design and publishing process rather than treating it as an afterthought.
